28 January 2021, Melin & Carlsson has acquired all shares in the cylinder manufacturer Tubex AB.
The two companies form a new group with a turnover exceeding 17 million EUR. The main focus is
the manufacture of hydraulic cylinders at two production units in Tranås.
In addition to this, both pneumatic cylinders and hydraulic cylinders are manufactured at the
production unit in Borås.
By taking advantage of each other’s specialties as a company and the new groups joint business
volumes, we believe we can take great steps forward, with the goal of becoming one of Sweden’s
leading cylinder suppliers.
